What do you do for homes?
Most of our home work is simple and practical. We open doors when you are locked out, rekey locks when you move in, replace worn deadbolts, and add a second lock to a door that only has one. Bushwick is full of brick row houses, frame three-families, and walk-ups, and the doors on them range from old mortise locks to brand new deadbolts. We work on all of them.

Do I need a new lock or just new keys?
If your lock still works well, a rekey is usually enough. You keep the lock, we change the pins inside, and you get new keys. If the lock is worn, loose, or broken, we replace it. We tell you which one makes sense before we start.
How do I get a quote?
Call us, or text a photo of the lock and the edge of the door. We tell you what it needs and give you a written quote before any work starts.
What happens on the visit?
We arrive with the parts the photo and the call told us to bring. We show you what is worn or broken before we touch it, do the work, and then test every lock and key with you before we leave. If something else on the door needs attention, we point it out and you decide.
